Morning Data announce two Senior appointments New Non-Exec Chairman and FD

Stephen Card will be joining Morning Data as Non-Executive Chairman with effect from 1st October 2018.  Stephen has been in the London market for over forty years and has held a number of senior roles, mainly as a broker, but more recently in the role of a service and technology provider. He retired in 2017 from Charles Taylor Plc where he was previously CEO of Charles Taylor Insurance Services and a director of CT InsureTech.

Stephen said ‘I am delighted to be joining Morning Data at such an important time for the company.  The London and International insurance markets are going through a period of substantial change and efficient IT transformation is at the heart of that.  Morning Data has a proven track record of innovation and dynamic product development which I believe, provides the platform to give the market the combination of solutions they will need.  I am looking forward to contributing to the development of both products and services.’

Stuart Pembery will be joining Morning Data as a Director on 31st October 2018.  Stuart is a visionary, innovative and entrepreneurial IT Director and Programme Manager with 30 years’ experience and a proven track record bringing strong leadership and a consultative approach with a focus on service. Previously, Head of IT Change at Thames Valley Police, Stuart has also served as CIO/Head of IT at Liberty Specialty Markets (LSM), as a Global Principal at CSC Insurance, Business Development Director at Eurobase and ECF2 Programme Manager at Xchanging.

Before ECF2, Stuart implemented over 20 Specialty Lines systems all over the World and rescued two multi-million system implementation projects at Bain Hogg General Insurance Brokers. Stuart’s first ten years of work were at CMG (Now CGI) where he led its London Market Insurance Systems Business, having programme managed complex change for insurance and reinsurance companies and brokers. Stuart holds a joint honours degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of London and is a Fellow of the British Computer Society
