Morning Data are now able to provide their clients with a solution to the A&S and ECF issue with its partnership up with the The Alphabet Group who are well known for their workplace collaboration suite called The Insurance Workplace (TIW).  This is a specific service for London Market Brokers, Lloyd's Managing Agents and IUA companies. 
 
The TIW ES has all the functions of TIW and Document Repository Interoperability (DRI) for delivery to the Insurance Market repository (IMR), it also includes the Work Order for Xchanging to process the Accounting and Settlement (A&S) transactions and is fully connected for the Electronic Claims File (ECF).

NOVUS will provide an integrated solution through a new module called ECM smooth flow from Transaction Processing screen through a new ACCSET program then allowing the selection of pertinent documentation. This system will run for clients with or without the integrated DMS. On the ECF side document transmission will be provided from the Claims Entry Screen or from a stand alone form.

The integration puts NOVUS at the forefront of the developments for electronic connectivity in the London Market and allows the same functionality to be offered to the international non Lloyd's market, providing an electronic platform for the transmission of data and documents.

TIW will be creating a low cost Placing Hub for the London Market, and with the integration underpinning in place the provision of this facility from within NOVUS will be an evolutionary process rather than major developmental headache.
