LIIBA select Morning Data

The LMBC has been part of the British Insurance Brokers' Association, BIBA,  for many years. Following the EGM in early December, LMBC members voted unanimously to form a new association called the London and International Insurance Brokers Association, or LIIBA. Unlike its predecessor, the new association will be separate from BIBA, but will work with BIBA on an ad hoc basis. London market brokers will now have an independent representative body. As part of the transition all LMBC's staff and committees will transfer to LIIBA.

Morning Data were delighted to be approached by the LMBC earlier this year to design and create the new website.  The requirement involved the design of a more efficient document library to facilitate the dissemination of the information and circulars to the trade body's  large membership. The new site will provide the personalisation of relevant reading areas for each member and will meet the newly formed LIIBA's goal to enhance the Users experience of the organisation. At the site's core is Morning Data's content management system "a3" which enables LIIBA staff to maintain the entire library and website content in a simple, clear and efficient manner.

Mark Barwick praised the new website as a positive step forward. "The formation of LIIBA heralds a new start for the association. In recognition of this step forward we wanted a new and rebranded website which will better serve the developing needs of our members. Like LMBC, Morning Data are a small organisation, and we perceive this as an asset as we wanted a development partner that was willing to work with us and give us the same personal service we give our members."
