What is in a name? We asked our Users at this year's User Group, held in the magnificent setting of Athelhampton House once again.  We provided several options and asked how the group felt about the brand the name and what it meant to them. The overwhelming response is that the NOVUS name stays, and in line with the market trend sticking an "e" on the front seemed to convey some of the wealth of new features and functions the product will now offer.

We commenced the project over a year ago to redesign the front end, make the navigation more sympathetic to the Users and listen to the features they wanted to see included. So from simple additions such as quick access to a calculator to a complete redesign of the navigation area.

Links into RSS feeds and mapping tools for Property risks, and context sensitive application panels mean that the User can perform all their tasks from within the Dashboard. Recent Emails and the Users' calendar are also presented in easy to read, clean and clear panels.

The reception was extremely enthusiastic, and whilst the core programs will still be called within the Dashboard the perfect balance of user influence on features and improvements is simultaneously combined with stability and smooth transition - a technique that is causing quite a flurry of interest in the Developer community.

We are pleased as punch with what we have created and delighted the reception is all we hoped for. A product and a service tailored for the small to medium Broker, Coverholder or Agency who need compliance, regulatory control, resilience and efficient working delivered with flexibility and support.
