Kay International Go Live

In just 8 weeks a full installation of NOVUS was rolled out at Kay International, the fastest installation thus far starting from commissioning the project, document and database configuration and training through to live launch barely spanned two full months. Kay required a single flexible system to handle their wide variety of business lines. NOVUS handles all classes of business including specialist detailed information for Marine Cargo Facultative and Open Covers, Marine Hull, Direct Yacht, Property (Commercial and Household), Fire, Motor (Private and Fleet) and Personal Accident.

NOVUS will bring all of Kay's departments together into one coherent system providing simple to produce Schedules, Slips, Covernotes, Statements, Debitnotes and outward bordereaux (tailored to the requirements of their Underwriters with load features that include, Binders, Bouquet, Policy numbers, Transaction numbers, date ranges and Market References). Integrated Underwriting, Accounts, Claims and reporting all fully hosted for the ultimate in convenience. 

The launch date of the 1st July was selected to coincide with the start of their new financial year and was marked with a launch lunch hosted by Morning Data for all of Kay as well as several representatives from other NOVUS Users; Paul Napier, Crescent Global, Kinetic Insurance Brokers and WTButler.

The project has been deemed a great success and it is hoped the relationship with Kay and Morning Data and the other NOVUS users will flourish.
