G&T Brokers Ltd gained FSA approval in March 2009 and immediately started trading from its premises located at 6 Lloyds Avenue in the heart of the Insurance Market.

Although G&T Brokers Ltd is a newly formed Insurance and Reinsurance Broking Company it is able to draw upon a wealth of experience and can offer technical advice on a broad range of product lines and distribution styles, deriving from the wide -ranging knowledge, practical experience and prolific people networks of G&T personnel.

The company is headed by Adam Massingham who brings over 30 years of London Market experience in a variety of disciplines and who is also supported by the other Company Principal, Carden Mulholland Finance Director, who has worked extensively in the Financial Services sector both in London and Internationally,

G&T were fortunate to recruit Leslie Judd as their Senior Broker and he has brought with him both wide-ranging Wholesale Reinsurance Treaty and Binding Authority experience coupled with an international client base.

As a start up Broker G&T is faced with a catalogue of issues and legislation they must contend with before being able to trade, and in order to be sure the company would start with low administrative costs and a tight producing and accounting system as its backbone Adam reviewed several options available.

Morning Data's NOVUS product was selected, demonstrating a wide scope for maximum flexibility and exceptional value for money. Most importantly the potential for the development of a close and supportive relationship between the companies was evident from the start. Together with a good understanding of the needs of smaller Brokers there is the desire to grow and expand.

When discussions progressed it was decided that a single point of contact for all of G&T IT requirements not just the system would be desirable, and Morning Data put together a package for IT support to provide continuity and accountability for all IT issues. The system was installed with potential office relocation in mind, making good use of mobile and wireless technology and CITRIX being brought online to facilitate connection and administration from any location worldwide providing the necessary flexibility to mange business on a worldwide basis.
