Five members of the Morning Data team have all successfully passed their CII Foundation in Insurance (FIT) Test. Congratulations poured in thick and fast for the individuals who had spent the last few weeks swatting up on FSA, Lloyd's and other organisations responsibilities and duties, the clauses, warranties and conditions of commercial and personal line business; as well as the numerous acronyms prevalent in the industry. Remembering of course they are all primarily in the IT industry and only by association in the Insurance industry.

However as prospective clients have asked before "are you just programmers or do you know anything about insurance", we of course have a very good understanding of all aspects of Broking Insurance and Reinsurance in terms of how it is processed and what the technicians, brokers and underwriters need of a computer system; now we can build the evidence in terms of qualifications in the industry of our clients as well as our own.

"I personally would like to pass on my congratulations to Phil, Sue, Andy and Igor who all passed with flying colours on the 25th February. I look forward to them showing the same positive approach to learning and the industry in the next choices of modules towards the CII certificate. Andrew, John and Keith will be following quickly behind them. I think it was probably scarier for those further along their career and returning to education, but really they all know their stuff very well, this just proves it. Well done everyone."
