Kirstin Duffield, MD of Morning Data, and Lynton Minahan of European Specialty Risks attended the Lloyd's Market Charity Awards on behalf of "Team Pink" who cycled on excercise bikes, on an exceptionally hot Autumn day, in aid of Breast Cancer Campaign. Two teams of four cycled, theoretically, the 50 miles from Leigh-on-Sea to Mersea Island whilst having wet sponges thrown at them if they were suspected of not pulling their weight!

The £1000 award for each of the selected causes was donated by the Lloyd's Charity Trust and Team Pink's Cheque has bought the total fund raising between the 8 riders, Sam Taylor, Matt Gissing, Jackki Harris, Mike King, Mandy Lake, Lynton Minahan, Tony Spratt and Kirstin Duffield to a whopping £10,311.

Other worthy causes were awarded and two other Clients of Morning Data also attended, John Mitchell of Kinetic Insurance Brokers to collect his cheque on behalf of the Society of Our Lady of Lourdes for whome he is Trustee and honoury secretary. The charity organises pilgrimages to Lourdes for the sick, disabled and vunerable adults and children.

Also Nicola Bassett from Faraday, wife of Jeff of Endeavour Insurance Services collected her cheque on behalf of Clic Sargent. Nicola's involvement stems back many years and has been inspired by a colleague's daughter who is fighting brain cancer.
