Every once in a while companies take stock of themselves and how they are perceived. We spend all our time looking after our clients' day to day needs that we forget about the peripheral elements such as our own image. At the end of last year we decided that our website, although having done sterling service, was beginning to look a little tired and did not truly reflect the way we felt about ourselves as a team.
Our options were simple - pass the task out to a design house to look at the industry, package up a set of fonts, colour palettes, styles and images that our competitors would feel a little intimidated by and our prospects would get no insight into who we were. What is more, our clients would not connect this to the people they know as Morning Data and their fees would have had to go towards its creation. Alternatively, we could use the wealth of talent already within our company, and combined with the fact we have produced websites that have been highly regarded thus far in terms of design, layout and technical construction, we thought we should produce our own site from inside Morning Data to convey what and who we are to the world.
The project did not have a direct income and so for several months progress was slow. We continued to deliver all our clients wishes and released our new NOVUS I3 and Z3 versions, but with the commencement of the LMBC website drawing closer the pressure to get ours "out of the way" was on.
The wait has been worth it. We are delighted to be able to present our new website, the style and layout are designed to be bold and dynamic, with simple, clear navigation for all browsers of the web. For our clients we now offer a single point for all information including logging into to the Support site for URMs. We will also provide a direct link to our test version of NOVUS to allow those that might be interested in seeing more, but may be too far away for a demo, to access online.
We will aim to provide more application information and details of releases of programs in the next few months.
Most importantly we would like to hear from our clients what they think we should add to our site. We hope everyone likes the new look and feel.
