Afro-Asian have been the first of Morning Data's Clients to take the plunge and implement a fully hosted NOVUS installation. As part of a total system review and ambitions to expand operations, Udai Patel, Managing Director of Afro-Asian Insurance Services charged Morning Data and Accutech, with the job of moving their entire infrastructure to a fully hosted solution over a weekend. The transition was smooth and hassle free and NOVUS was being accessible before 10am on the Monday morning.

Z3 is Morning Data's web distributed platform for NOVUS, HELIX, SUNRISE and HELIX Re. Using Citrix XenApp it allows the application to be accessed via a web browser from any suitable internet connected location such as home, hotel, internet café, mobile broadband enabled device or wireless hotspot. The system is not restricted to PC's and can be run on Apple Macintosh, Windows or Symbian based mobile phones or PDA's and Linux workstations.

Afro-Asian's move paves the way for international distribution of AAIS system. AAIS's NOVUS application has been moved to a hosted facility provided by Acuutech who have a long standing relationship with both AAIS and Morning Data. The system can now be accessed securely from anywhere in the world opening the way for teleworking, remote office use and greatly simplifying life  for travelling staff who now only need access to the internet in order to be able to access the application in real time. The change over was performed over a weekend and went without any significant problems.
