Mike Skinner - BSc(hons), Cert CII(London Market), Cert CA
Graduated from London University's Royal Holloway College with a BSc(Hons) in Applied Physics and Electronics, Mike went on to work in the field of communication systems for the emergencies services and then software team leader for one of the top 5 access control manufacturers in the UK for 9 years and finally as a project manager for the world's largest utility company before joining Morning Data.
From his experience in a variety of languages, Mike has taken up the role of development and support of classic NOVUS as well as pushing forward the development of the .Net version, eNOVUS, alongside the rest of the development team. Working with the team, Mike has brought in many new technologies and process to allow the adaption of an Agile development process as well as bring in the concept of Key Account Managers to increase our visibility to our clients. Mike has also taken on a supporting role to our administration team.
Mike passed his Foundation Insurance Test with an impressive 97% and went on to obtained Cert CII (London Market), Cert CA in Compliance and a qualification in bookkeeping.
Jonathan McGraw - BSc(Hons), ACII

10 years’ experience in the London insurance market, initially as a Lloyd’s broker and more recently as an underwriter.
Excellent understanding of broking, underwriting and systems. Responsible for a Lloyds Delegated Authority and Binding Authorities. Exposure to both Retail and Wholesale Insurance; Direct and Agency Insurance business; Company and Lloyds Market Insurers and with insight of international insurance markets
Most recent experience is working overseas managing a Direct Marketing department. Preceding this role working for a Lloyd’s Coverholder to set up an international Motor scheme under a delegated Authority specialising in expatriate international risks. Experience with Binding Authorities throughout his career. Excellent understanding of IT systems and exposure to numerous increasing regulatory and compliance changes within the insurance industry.
Challenges and accomplishments additional to underwriting and brokering activities have been around process definition, problem solving and procedure development. Jonathan will be developing the Consultancy Services division offering clients a joined up approach to their aspirations for growth.
Omar Rafeeq - Financials - AICB, CB.Cert
Omar Rafeeq joins Morning Data's consultancy services team to provide clients with training and application support for our core product, ranging through the ledgers, foreign currency exchange, nominal and purchase ledgers, as well as handling taxes, FCA reporting and compliance
A consummate professional with a keen desire to absorb more knowledge on the finer complexities of accounts and economics. With hands on experience of preparing full statutory financial statements based on IFRS and UK - GAAP for audit.
His experience previously as a technical user positioned him ideally for empathising with the client experience, and his abilities as a class and one to one trainer will be essential to raising the overall user experience of the system.

Bryan James ACII
Chartered Insurer, Senior BA & Project Manager
35 plus years in the Insurance and Reinsurance industry. Responsibilities will include project managing system implementation of the eNOVUS product providing consultancy on regulatory compliance around the system functionality. Bryan will work to ensure that Morning Data Clients have suitable expectation management and delivery matches that, advising where other processes may need to be addressed. This will ensure that the system is implemented within the organisation efficiently with all stakeholders on board and satisfied. Bryan possesses expertise in Understanding complex reinsurance problems and ensuring that they are dealt with efficiently, producing suitable workarounds when systems cannot be adapted to client requirements within an acceptable framework. Dealing with the interpretation of the principles of the FCA in a constructive manner to the benefit of all. Training Client staff to understand the business that they are in and the systems that they are using.
Dr Marek Cropper
Snr BA Developer, Board Chairman
Dr Marek Cropper has been designing, writing and maintaining software for the Direct & Reinsurance Broker for nearly 35 years and has extensive experience of the Technical Accounting functions, the Insurance market and the IT issues involved. He is responsible for the ground-breaking design of the Morning Data software as well as the unique funding controls.
Richard Gillibrand - B Eng (Hons), MSc, PhD, Cert CII (London Market)
Richard has spent the last 7 years working for a large multi-national company as a support software engineer on Enterprise scale data loss prevention (DLP) and regulatory compliance products. He developed an internal issue tracking system and was heavily involved in quality assurance and deployment management of the products.
Richard brings to Morning Data varied skills, from C# & Java to SQL Server and web development. His skill set compliments our current team bringing a wealth of commercial experience.
Peter Gelder - BSc, Cert CII(London Market)
Upon completing his degree in E-Commerce & Internet Systems Peter has worked in development and in the IT support industry. He has nearly 2 years experience in IT support and brings a number of skills to the team. He will be responsible for the everyday running of our systems and will also assist with our clients IT related issues.
